where do I start if I want to learn a new language?

I wanna start learning French but idk where to start?? I mean I know my native language and english, but I learned it in school and i can’t afford french teaching classes so I wanna start by myself.

I’m asking multilingual ppl since I’m assuming there’s a lot here in the active forums and maybe learn about different tips

You have some dedication damn, that shit is one of the hardest languages I know. I quit, but still learn it at school, and the way I still keep up with it is that I have online friends from Montreal and Quebec.
