Help pls

I do not really know how to tell my mom that i have to repeat the year.
Overall I've always been a pretty good student, but this year wasnt really my year.
I did pretty well on the english final exam (i got an 1=A+), in math it was an (grade 4=D)ok and i dont know what i have in german. I have good grades on evrything except math, chemistry, and physiks (all of them grade 4=D). And the grades of the other classes can't balance my bad grades. I would really like to repeat the year because i couldn't concentrate due health problems and so on.
Aside from repeating the year I have the possibility to do an apprenticeshipp in a occupation that i would like to work in the future. After this training i would get the opportunity to continue with my school education. Problem here is I'm lost and don't know what i would like to work in the future to choose now a training.
Any Ideas could help.
Thank you a lot <3

The same thing happened to me. My grades were fine. My parents wanted me to be a teacher. I didn't like this job. I don't think it suits me. So I repeated the year because I don't want to regret anything, even if I regret it. I want to regret a decision I made, well, now there is a month left until the start of the final exams anyway you should do ......

If you're in high school, you should retake the tests or go to summer school to earn credits for that class. If you're in college, and you need that credit, there should be other programs for you to take outside of school that can help you make up for it. At least that's how it is in my area.
