I think that's because the sex scene just lacks the chemistry and communication between the two partners. Sex scenes hit so different when the two partners have amazing communication and foreplay through out and it actually feels like an intimate scene, yummy. I started to believe that some authors are probably virgin af, they don't know how sex works. It's crazy that most sex scenes aren't intimate or at least give the characters emotional bonds. It feels like two fellas were forced to mow a lawn except one of them doing it involuntarily 1 reply
