I'm not sure if this make sense but it's a lot easier to remember based on how they act. Like "Oh this one cries alot" "this one have a bad temper" "this one is quite bubbly" so whenever I talked about it with my sister or someone, I'll just go like "do you remember that one character from (insert manga name)? The one that cries alot?"
