They're comparing MID PIECE to JOJO. I only lasted one episode (for one piece), it could be the animation. I have a feeling that if I had seen the OVA first for JOJO, I wouldn't like the entire series . So, I think I'm an anime fan who judges anime heavily for its animation. The plot comes after the art style.
