I accidentally drove my new car that my parents got me (with a loan must I add) about two weeks ago into my garage today. The whole garage door tore off, my headlight is broken and my car is all scratched. I can’t believe this is happening to me and I’ve cried so much until my eyeballs are dry. My dad‘s coming home soon and I’m scared this anxiety is eating me alive, he’s so mad at me and was cussing me tf out on the phone. I genuinely can’t believe this is happening to me and I don’t even know what to do with myself. I genuinely feel like jumping out a window and I hate my main friends right now because they’re not listening to the audios of me sobbing and explaining what happened that I sent about two hours ago & it’s not bc they’re busy. I newly have a job so I’m offering to pay when I get the money but my mom gets frustrated when I bring it up and tells me to not even bother bringing it up in front of my dad. So I will pay it off just in one big sum since I can’t really bring it up rn. I’m trembling and just can’t comprehend anything right now like I can’t believe this…..

from what you explained it sounds like it's mostly cosmetic. head lights are very easy to switch out i did mine last week in about 30 minutes and cost me like $80 total. they have scratch repair kits if theyre not too deep. so even if you do go through insurance/dealership it shouldnt be that big of a deal. the garage door is a little more of an is...... 1 reply
