I actually need the sound in the background to help me stay focused. To not get distracted by lyrics when reading, I usually play instrumental music. But when it comes to reading longer manga I like to play the same song on loop for hours. I read Full Metal Alchemist while listening to Rod Stewart's Da Ya Think I'm Sexy. I'm used to multitasking and get bored really easily. I can also play games/read and listen to someone talking at the same time. If I'm reading I can sometimes lose focus on what someone is talking about but when I play games or watch sth It’s really easy for me. Originally I had finished a manga listening to a certain playlist of songs and now whenever I hear those songs I instantly think of that manga. that was like 8 years ago.
