When i was growing up my parent's never made me think badly of any type of love, i didn't even know what a gay person or a lesbian was until i came to America, so i always dated anyone- boy or girl, i love yaoi because i can get really fired up from reading it, and i love it even more if there's muscles, tallness, and good looking hotties in the st......   1 reply

The first time I encountered yaoi was Antique Bakery when I was 16, I'm 20 now. During those in between years I became addicted to yaoi fan fiction on archives of our own and fanfiction.net. I hardly ever read hetero couples. I was on a tumblr yaoi porn blog and noticed the manga, then a whole new world opened for me and I haven't looked back. I'm ......   3 reply

For me. Love never worked out, I'm straight and being in relationships and seeing my parents relationship put me of this idea of love, and made me never want to feel love or commit to anyone. I always had a thing for gay couples however once I was exposed to Yaoi (which I discovered shortly after getting into anime) I was automatically hooked. It f......   reply

I first read yaoi in early high school. Junjou Romantica has always been so popular and I wanted to read it, but it was too graphic for me at the time haha my mind was definitely a lot more innocent then. I decided to start off with a less graphic yaoi. I read 鮫島くんと笹原くん (Samejima-kun to Sasahara-kun) and I LOVED it. It's so cute a......   1 reply

Started with m/m fanfics of this certain OTP of mine. I think I dedicated 6 months of it last year (omg!). Then, I started getting interested in everything realted to yaoi or BLs. my first impression: "Will that fit?!" (Yeah!) Now, I think that they're much more awesome to read. And I've come to understand the beauty of gay love! ^^   reply

From what I've learned, Most fudanshi only read BL because they like the bromance & will insist they're not gay. The sexually confused ones who end up being bisexual & preferring femme androgynous men over beefcake Bara types will gravitate to shotacon or otokonoko more often than yaoi. As a woman who appreciates the sexiness of women's bodies ove......   2 reply

I actually started with a seinen containing hentai parts... I had known about yaoi for quite a long time and started by reading some over my sister's shoulder. I realized it felt exactly the same as with hentai, was pretty shocked to see that after multiple hours of reading I had finally got a tiiiiiny reaction down there, decided I didn't give a s......   reply
