I mean it really depends what you mean. Personally nah I wouldn't go that far and say reading about a child's pov is weird. Sometimes a child's pov isn't actually intended for children either which can indeed sound contradictory. Take the promised neverland for example, that was a child's pov and let's just say that wasn't intended for children
