i was 14 at the time, and a stuttering mess… probably repeated “I-I-I..” like 20 times before finally saying “I like you!” Of course he didn’t feel the same way which was fine… now whenever I look back at that memory I wonder why I liked him so much (my tastes have changed a lot) and understand why he said no
