What's something you didn't realize was neglectful Intel you were older?

So I literally just remembered this today for to reason at all like it fr was random af plus I don't really remember much of my childhood either because I have shit memory or I just don't want to remember it but when I was younger at some time in my life my step mom didn't let me shower I honestly don't remember if it was because we were having money problems or she just didn't want to go to the store but we didn't have a lot of body wash and my dad really had to shower because back then he always used to work outside and on cars so he was always sweaty and dirty so she would lie and say we had no body wash and that I couldn't take a shower but ofc we did have body wash but I wouldn't really blame her if it was just for my dad and she as well wasn't taking a shower but she was literally taking a shower as well even though she didn't have to so later on in life this ofc became a problem because I had got the habit to not take showers for DAYS like fr a week or so with out a shower luckily I broke that habit when I was like 10 or 11 i think?
