The problem is kids seek validation from older people so when someone older says stuff that makes them seem like they're treated older, they fall for it.
It's happened to me when I was 12~ and it doesn't even need to be on this site, but a lot of games and just regular forum sites.
Personally, for me, it was a lot of the time, these people tried ......
