It's the same as asking "Why do you read crime stories if you're against murders and crime in general?" Reading something doesn't affect your real life. You can enjoy something and still be the total opposite of what you're reading.   reply

Being an ace does not make you stop reading anything such as sexual or explicit as this. Asexual define a person that does not have any attraction nor interest in having a sexual relationship with another person. These yaois are fictions and doesn't represent real sexual relationship at all. And even if it does, it's not like these are done to us. ......   reply

im an asexual lesbian! (not aromantic). i started reading BL for the gay representation. Yuri is so bland and badly written most of the time. I don't mind sex scenes but I usually skim over them, although I'd rather read a yaoi sex scene than a straight one because I can't picture myself as a girl in it. actually my favourite BL's arent even sexual......   1 reply

as a lesbian, i real bl because i can relate to the struggles, though not directly, of mlm. there's a scarcity of content aimed for wlw in media, not just for comics, and it is really frustrating (if you would look at the yuri section of this website you would find that there are barely any good ones in it that aren't obviously made by straight men......   1 reply
