i only read manga most of the time because they're short and i don't have to scroll much. also the possibility of owning the physical copy of manga is high + good price . sad that most of the manhwa that i love dont have a physical copy   reply

manhwas are much easier to read and easier on the eyes/more pleasing to the eyes cause theres not that many details(and theyre coloured) unlike manga also theyre typically shorter than mangas but personally i just find them easier to read and most of the ones i read have good art thats pleasing to the eyes, also just another one of my guesses manga......   reply

I mainly read manhwas but I might read manga once in a while. I like manhwas because its coloured, that doesn't mean i dislike manga. I can read off an entire manga in one day if it's a physical copy, but when it's digital it doesn't grab my attention as much as manhwa which makes it hard for me to focus on it   reply

I still read manga! I think the reason it’s not as popular bcs by how many uploaded manhwa are, also manhwa will update weekly, while manga will take once a month or even once a year. But, i also have other concern tho, idk is it just me or anyone else feels like this too. I feel like people are skeptical and already have negative view towards ma......   reply

For me I think the issue lies with their update schedule, since it takes so long often times people forget about it. Sekai Ichi and junjou romantica updates like once a year (if we're lucky), megumi tsugumi updates 5 times a year, Dakaichi is on hiatus. Not a BL but Yumeiro Patisserie finally got updated/translated here after 10 years. But hey tha......   1 reply

As a manga enjoyer for 20+ years (I grew up reading Doraemon, Kobo-chan, Rose of Versailles, Sailormoon, CCS, YuYu Hakusho, DB, etc), I prefer manhwa than manga. I'm a fan of manga but not a hardcore fan that would blindly liking and defending something and disregard anything else. Maybe there's a burnt out reason to it but it's just seeing Manhwa ......   reply

For me it feels like manwha are more optimized when it comes to being read online, so they look good on a screen. A lot of manga scans don't look that great to me on screen, or at least not as good as physical manga looks, even with someone really putting in effort on their uploads. So I read manwhas online like 100x more.   reply
