everyone already read them and they're completed, or the majority of people have already read them.
also jp has a slower update schedule than manhwa sometimes. manhwa is weekly pretty often, but some jp are released in volumes so it takes more time for them to get out.
it could also be that jp doesn't have the tropes that people like
