I honestly think the #celebrityblocklistis a great idea, however why are we including celebrately and influencers who HAVE talked about supporting Gaza and have sent links and donated to them?
It confuses me because one of the people on the blocklist were Zendya and she openly supports Gaza and even made a post sharing a link where they can donate to charity that are helping with the cause as well.
Its pointless af. They are celebrities not politicians. Putting such high political responsibilities on them just because they are famous singers or actors is honestly not it. People act like one "free Palestine" from lana, taylor or bts is gonna stop the genocide lol 2 reply
i think lots of people who create these lists aren't fully researching who and who doesn't support/speak out about what's happening - so you should definetely look into some of these celebrities/influencers yourself to confirm. i do believe the blocking is important as it pressures those who've been silent to speak out.
