honestly i'm not even sure if i don't like it but;
when mc likes someone, and they've known each other since high school. then mc knows he can't be together with his crush because the guy he likes is straight. then the one mc likes always have an older brother brother and usually 3++ years older. so then when the mc decides to stop the one sided crush because yk can't be together and stuff, the older brother would now come up (usually the ML) and woo MC and say he liked MC for years and was jealous of his own brother cuz ut wasn't him. time skip, they get together

There is nothing worse than stepbrothers (don't even make me start on blood brothers) or teacher X student for me.
I feel like if you're a teacher you should know that there is some line that you can't come across.
Same way I feel about incest.
If you cross that line, you have no respect from me and lost all my interest.
People may get confused......
