People have always had an affinity to what's morbid and rather dark, so it makes sense some people like it, especially people who are into extreme rough play, sex, BDSM, etc. I can also imagine survivors of SA could have such a kink as a way to reclaim control and control what's happened to them, so I don't think it's inherently bad or weird.
