I've only ever had my ear lobes pierced. I had both done at once to get it over with faster. It was pretty much 30 seconds of feeling like somebody hit my lobes with a small hammer. After that it still hurt a little for the next few hours but it's the type of residual pain you get when you stub your toe so it was easy to ignore.
