I have had insomnia my whole life heh. Insomnia and depression can be linked. It’s kinda hard to say which came first. But generally the easier (sorta) one to try and fix is insomnia. If you’re getting enough sleep, your body will become happier hopefully, and your brain might follow suit. If you can and have slept in for any number of hours ......   reply

I can't comment on depression, but I've been fighting (losing) a battle agaisnt insomnia for like a decade now. The thing is that it can't really be diagnosed. Insomnia is often a sign of underlying issues, so I would think about that first. Are you an anxious person who overthinks while trying to fall asleep? Is your body used to sleeping late?......   1 reply

I'm on medication for both depression and insomnia. In my experience, when I'm depressed, I just feel sad for no reason, all the time. I have no energy to do even the simplest things like brush my teeth or take a walk. I just feel like everything is tiring and everything feels futile. My insomnia isn't caused by depression though, it's caused by a......   reply
