Stories adopted by novels do these tropes the best, majority of the time, so I usually go with them without any hesitation.
If it's written by the artist too then it has very low chances comparatively, of actually being good, cause I feel like artists for starters aren't familiar with writing obviously, so they put too much focus on to continuing ......
