I’m so sorry you’re going through this. I lost two cats the same way, just days apart. It was one of the hardest things I’ve ever gone through. I still miss them almost every day.
With time, the pain softens a little, even though you always carry a part of it. What’s helped me is holding onto the good memories...the silly, sweet, comforting moments and trying not to focus too much on how they died. That’s how I find a bit of peace.
Let yourself feel the grief. But when you're ready, don’t be afraid to let new love in. I eventually adopted another cat, and while it didn’t replace them, it brought something new and good into my life.
That’s awful I’m so sorry they went so close to each other, my dogs did the same thing few years ago. To make myself feel better I though that at least my dog was no longer lonely since they loved each other so much.
I'm so sorry for your loss. Definitely take some time for yourself if you can. Losing 2 cats in a span of 4 days is hard. It's ok if you just wanna lay in bed and cry for a while. Don't be too harsh on yourself.
