I think many people are not as well informed on how detrimental ai will be to the working class as they should be. There’s literal studies predicting that a large percentage of jobs, including blue collar jobs, can be fully replaced by ai by the year 2030. Search it up. Most people that are aware opted to prepare and learn skills that will still be useful even with ai in place but the majority of people don’t even know this will happen. This will be the catalyst to a new Great Depression unless laws are made to regulate it, which if you live in the US, there’s little to no hope future Mr president will do anything about it.
