Tried to fill in for a surgeon and accidentally dropped a scapel

I work as a assistant for a surgeon and when he asked me to look over the patient while his stomach was split open as we looked for his appendix, I took a scapel and was playing around with it and drawing little stars on the patients skin, but like the surgeon came in and I got jumpscared and the scapel fell in, I was too scared to say anyth so we jst stitched him up and he left im so scared I hope he’s okay
