why are gls not produced as much as bls?
I mostly read BLs but occasionally I read GLs too, and one thing I've noticed is that there isn't enough GLs produced in comparison to BLs, specifically content variety and quality wise.
There is such a wide variety of BLs when you think about it, if I had to name a few it'd be guideverse, horror, online gaming friends, mafia, traumatizing, older men, priest yaoi, transmigration, angels and demons etc etc the list goes on and I think there's something for everyone's interest but when it comes to GLs, i found that there are extremely less stories that fit in any of these categories.
Why is that so?
Some might say you need a lotta creativity to come up with the story and stuff, no, there's such a lack of GL content that even adapted BL plots can be seen as groundbreaking, just because they're exploring new territory.
There's such a big sea of opportunities but creators aren't taking advantage of it. I seriously can't understand why is that so. ┐(´ー｀)┌
So true, which is why I don’t exactly hate bad thinking diaries author, is her choice of using toxic tropes problematic? Yes, but it’s also allowing other manwha artists and story writers to realize that they can make fun, lesbian stories that do not necessarily jst have to b pure honey sweet but also toxic stories too, my problem w most gl is ......
