Does the beginning have a beginning? Tldr; what do you guys think came before the Big Bang or god?
I was reading all the answers to the “what happens after death?” Question and I kind of had a mini existential crisis. Ok I’m gonna give some background here but I was raised religious (I wasn’t even allowed to leave my bed without praying) but I never believed in god even when I was a child. When I was 5 or 6 I would read my little books about space and sort of force myself to have existential crises. My question would always be, “what came before the Big Bang?” Or if we factor in god, “what came before god?” I did enough research on it to figure out that the human mind cannot perceive the things that happen outside its understanding of space/time. What do you guys feel about this?
I don’t know abt your religion but like in my religion we have those theories and shi about what comes after death.Like reincarnation blah blah I do believe in reincarnation cause like energy can neither be created nor destroyed . Not raised religious I was left to form my own ideology about these things, maybe some form of god exists, but I don't think it has a physical form, maybe an energy. A metaphysical being, as kid I used to frequently have shower thoughts like what if one could see god but the actual picture was so grotesque, they would rip their eyes out. Gory depic...... reply
