Seriously I think I’m lovestruck, and now that i know how it feels to be in love,
i can’t rely on the romance manga stories I’ve read.
Usually I’d overthink that whatever small interactions they’ve had with me has a lot more bigger meaning.

No, but I did date. In my opinion you should give up if they’re already dating and ask them out if they’re single. If they reject you, give up. It’s quite straightforward. No point in thinking about it too much.
