Texting my bf

(I lowkey didnt wanna ask on reddit so im shooting my shot here)
But anyway do yall also text your partners a godly awful amount of times like im talking having 18 full conversation and a minimum 1 hour call a day ???
Cuz like i feel like im being to need n cling even though he keeps reassuring me that he likes getting lots of messages, i just feel like hes saying that to not make me sad ykyk
And ig important to add that we are long distance rn and im very much not used to long distance and have no idea how to deal with it ┗( T﹏T )┛
