This is a ridiculous statement (and ngl question) because it depends on what happened. So, someone killed your parents? Give them a second chance...???
If you are severely affected by what they did, then I don't see why you SHOULD give someone a second chance.
A second chance, I've never really seen it as a mercy or even a chance, but a willing......
