i’d definitely say mine rn is payback. what drew me to it is that the author already had good manhwa that i liked, so i figured id try this one out. the main character is what kept me reading. the ml is only enjoyable if you turn your brain off or like them mean

magi !! compared to a lot of other mangas that mainly take inspo from japan or the west, magi takes its inspo from the middle east/the arabic world, mainly the 101 nights. the world building is also insanely good where it talks about the socio-economics, role of magic, and what they provide to the world whether it be militaristic, wealth, slaver...... 4 reply

I really like Houseki no Kuni, I think it deserves a pretty high spot for how it was able to really distinguish itself from the rest. If you all only watched the anime then you don’t know what you’re missing Another one of my favourites is Heaven Official's Blessing, the art style really fits the story, I don’t think they could have matched...... 5 reply
