My friend wants to write and publish a stoty but his problem is he doesnt know which platform. You guys read novels, wheres the best site? He's only doing it for fun not as a job.

If you want feedback, use Webnovel. They have a whole review trade thing there I think, unless they changed it. Just so you know, you cannot delete stories off of webnovel, but you can delete your account if you contact customer service. If you just want people to read it, ao3. ao3 has a section for originals. If you really want people to read it...... reply

Ao3, ik ppl who use Tumblr as well but I have no experience with it. I think whattpadd is a lil dead. Or you could be an overachiever, make your own website + post it on all popular platforms, promote it online, with posts or a channel and get business popping. To get people to want to go on the website, make it so things like extras, snippets, p...... reply
