can someone tell me why chinese manhuas are all badly paced

The ones that aren't novel adaptations but rather og works, are mass produced cause there's no quality control, all of them have the same artstyle (wonky eyes, pale ass skin) and to an extent same character personlities and all that cause again no one's stopping their works from being published, or giving them feedback, like for mangas and manhwas.......   1 reply

My guess is that most of them are adaptation of novels and so they assume that you've read it already/ will just read the novel after, rather than as a way to introduce it to new audiences. Those novels tend to be long as well so they tend to miss smaller (mostly character and world building) bits and only do the main highlights of the story so tha......   1 reply
