When some1 msgs u casually, would u rather they typed the words out in full or do u prefer it if they shortened it with abbreviations, acronyms, and initalisms?

Cos yk the issue of short attention span and feeling discouraged to read a msg if it looks too long

Also r there abbreviations that u find annoying?

People like to blame ridiculous abbreviations on modern tiktok rotted attention spans, but making dumb shortcuts has actually been a thing for ages with texting lol. I found my moms old planner from 2006 and it had an entire dictionary just for different abbreviations, and a lot of them were really dumb. Some I remember were ianal = I am not a lawy...... reply
