It wont be awkward if you dont make it awkward. How about offering to cover it with another throw-away bed sheet or blanket first if they still prefer your bed over a chair? (Cos some chairs do be uncomfy)   reply

Offer to take their jacket or whatever very nicely so they'd look like an asshole if they refuse. But fr tho if they're your friend you can just talk to them you know? If it'll be awkward then it'll be awkward, if they're your friend they shouldn't make a big deal out of it if you ask nicely   reply

I would give them a pair of comfortable, clean clothes if they are staying for the night or for too long and say, 'I have no outside clothes on bed rule. You can wear these if you want to lie down.' And I would change my clothes too, obviously. But that is some kind of culture in my country. When your close friends come to your house, it’s normal......   2 reply
