I'd drop a manga/wha on the first chapter if the art throws me off to the point I can't enjoy the story without trying to figure out what exactly is going on with this art (usually it's whack proportions that piss me off)
Another instance is if I just don't like part of the character design for instance I was checking out a furry mangas first chap......
