I'm not a native English speaker and when I watch English movies,shows,etc I can't understand what the characters are feeling during certain interactions( this happens rarely). It feels like they are just talking to each other robotically
like I can't tell if they are being sarcastic, awkward, hostile, flirting , hating, mocking, joking etc. In some situations I can tell that its either this or that.

Are you watching anglophone shows or dub English over non-anglophone shows?? Because if the latter yeah they sound robotic but for the former dawg you just ain’t finding the right shows

Bro like what, cause as an English speaker who’s been an English speaker my entire life living in a place that speaks majoritally English, I have not ever encountered movies where people speak robotically with each other, you might be watching some shitty movies if you’ve encountered that.
I guess not necessarily robotic tho idk how to phrase it properly, I think it's the characters being sarcastic I probably am too slow. Can't name anything rn tho can't think of any (〜￣△￣)〜 it's just some scenes tho not the whole movie so I usually don't mind.
