Speak your truth! I lowk dgaf if the slave beats the mc to death/ tortures them icl. Especailly in those stories where the mc buys a slave and makes them their personal servant...idc that they have a 'better' life now, you still bought a human being and expect them to do work for you and be loyal to you...just bc you saved them.
