I have been asked out twice, the first person I friend zoned but the second person was my best friend of two years which I heavily hinted that I wanted to be involved romantically w him (he is a dense mf tho) but we both were too afraid of taking the next step until I straight up said something along the lines of “You know how amazing it would be......   3 reply

Well tbh i just went on for it cus in my culture "you're the man you have to woo the girl just do it" it's basically flirting but in a very respectful way. Rather than "ask out", I confess my feelings I don't have expectations for anything farther to happen Already confessed thrice (twice to the same person) and was rejected and/or dismissed, but I don't confess with the thought that something will develop from it so I don't really get hurt from it   2 reply
