Curiosity Led Me to Yaoi

I remember back in 7th or 8th grade—can’t really recall which—I watched my first yaoi anime, Koisuru Boukun, on YouTube. It was my first time seeing a "naughty" scene, and I even questioned myself like, "Am I really supposed to be watching this?" But after that, I started craving more yaoi anime. Their love stories just felt so different and captivating.

Eventually, I binged everything I could find. But around 2018 or so, there weren’t that many yaoi anime out yet, so it was hard to discover new ones. That’s when I shifted to reading manga—and I got even more addicted. The stories were more detailed and complete.

Sometimes, I miss those days—when I still had the time to just read and watch without worrying about anything else.
