ok so there's no way I'd ever afford/be allowed a playstation or to purchase the game on steam so I sourced this site down where they have most games for free and I realised the damn game is like PS5's 5th largest game at 141 gb???? Is it worth downloading it on my laptop and playing on laptop quality, or am i supposed to like download it into a USB somehow because I don;t think my laptop will survive the 3 hrs that google has predicted for it to take for the game to download... I rly wanted to see Sephiroth and Cloud in game...

your best bet is using a torrent (qbitorrent if you’re a windows user, transmission if you’re a mac user) to download the file tbh if you’re willing to take the risk to download the big ass file and wait for the equally long download time to boot.
to add, since it’s a rar file I believe you should download winrar and install it, then after download your game file with winrar, you probably won’t need a torrent then since winrar should work fine to download the file

okay! so winrar is a downloadable program to use for specifically rar type files like your game file in your screenie is, the latest English 64 bit one (7.11) is the one to get.
you should download it first and install it before you get your game downloading, since you’ll be able to open the file in winrar once it’s downloaded.
torrenting is a bit tricky to explain since it can be illegal sometimes lol, but essentially it’s basically downloading files from others (such as fitgirl packs if you were to download a specific cracked Skyrim version) and letting it download in your chosen torrent program itself.

go ahead, just remember before downloading your games file to download and install winrar first (the latest 64 bit English 7.11 version, and remember you do not need to pay at all for it if it asks after installation, just close the pop up if it does.)
one more thing, make sure once your game file is all downloaded via winrar to place and extract the file into a new folder on wherever you want on your desktop, then you’ll have your games files much easier to work with for actually installing your game and finding it on your pc.
