for example, melanie (yes i know its old) i love her songs so much, its so nostalgic, but saying that in public/social media would make you the most hated person in the room. tbh i have been avoiding her entire SA case ,willingly want to stay ignorant, because knowing the truth or the full of it, would ruin these songs which i loved so much when i was a teenager.
Being black has taught me that you can't separate the art from the artist because art reflects the artist. So no i don't believe you can and i don't believe you should, you should judge the art with the intent from artist behind it 1 reply
