why are isekai historical manhwas all lowkey slop…? i remember back in the day the concept was fresh and it was fun to read about a 21st century girl stuck in a 19th century world with different challenges. nowadays it’s just… slop. there’s no way to describe it other than slop. it’s all just comercial storytelling without an actual story.
i actually don’t remember any isekai romance manhwas other than kill the villainess & a stepmothers wish because of how refreshing they are. all of them are lowkey the same and offer the same female lead that has the personality of a rock but also a prodigy (?) and a male lead that also has the personality of a rock but somehow is mean and a tyrant and also strong and mean and rich as hell and did i mention mean?
all in all, please recommend some manhwas my way that aren’t like this.
