Thoughts on the mangadex situation?

If anyone isn't aware yet:-
Popular Manga Reading Site Manga Dex was hit by hundreds of DMCA takedown notices for a wide range of series (unlicensed too) from many major japanese publishers. Many series were removed from the site.

This follows another major DMCA incident related to manga on reddit in recent days.

It seems that japanese publishers or the third party companies they task with it suddenly show unprecedented harshness against manga scanlation.

I beg mangago to put a notice on their homepage or sth for readers to never talk about this site on social media, the same way scanlation groups give notices at the start of chapters. sth to add is that I just know that the people spreading this site online through actual posts and tagging authors tend to be the younger readers, if this site put d...... 1 reply
