join orgs, student conventions, clubs, and do volunter work. getting 'absorbed' into the company after an internship is a good thing too. that is, if you actually like the position they gave you or you just took it to complete the mandated hours. internships usually require 'projects' (at least in IT / IS /CS) they think can contribute to their wor......   1 reply

interview. I lied about my experiences but studied them after, just in case I got accepted. You just need to speak with confidence and persuasion. Overall. just work with passion and joy. Yes connections is key, I worked at hotel bars for quite some time and met professors coming through giving me advice and about most internships were to never settle. DONT EVER DO A FREE INTERNSHIP.
