Sister Marrying someone they never met
My sister, almost 26 planned to marry a Chinese dude, 29 next month in June or July.
Long story short, they never met in real life, they just met this month.
Someone introduce my sister to this Chinese dude. My sister doesn't have work for now, since working in Philippines with the salary of bare minimum won't get you somewhere and they are picky and have high standard of education so my sis is getting a hard time to look for a new job, so someone she knows introduce him to a Chinese guy who's looking for a wife, 29 years old and apparently he is an "Introvert" that's why he doesn't have any gf yet, and willing to support my sister, has a job, house and a car. So anyway, the one who introduce him to my sister is working on my sister's visa in China and they planned the wedding in June which is I hope this won't happen at all nor continue.
I am very against this
Why? Because THEY DON'T EVEN SPEAK THE SAME LANGUAGE
The dude doesn't know English. My sister doesn't know mandarin that much so the two talks in we chat with translation, but how can they even understand each other??
Second, My sister is pretty but not beautiful enough to treat with pretty privilege, so we don't know the purpose of the guy why he suddenly wanted to marry a filipino woman, like how can we even trust him!? What's his purpose of marrying a filipino woman???
Third, my sister doesn't really love him, she's marrying for the opportunity to go abroad and find a job in China since working in Philippines doesn't get you somewhere, that's why a lot of Filipinos goes to abroad.
My brother, mother and I against this but my father support my sis because she's already an adult and can make her own decision.
