Comfort women. Please remember them! Japan has done nothing to pay for their crimes of these women and some of them are still alive to this day! They have gone through so much, for years and years of torture. Most of these women were only 7-9yo when it happened btw! Alot had died due to the abuse of their husbands. How about some modern-day lore for a change. The current two most popular songs produced in my country that are trending right now are about young men(adult men) getting with cougars for money. trans women are seen as having spiritual powers and are kinda "worshipped". like when there's a wedding or a baby is born, people invite trans women to give their blessings (and also dance for some reason?), they are also given money. It all started during the World war II basically the people from my country blame the manananggal when a pregnant woman die or the fetus die when its actually all just a cover up from what the Japanese soldiers do they basically used the term "Manananggal" to hide the fact that they(The soldiers) are the one killing the pregnant women and the fetus   1 reply
