That's like something you shouldn't flex about infront of a suicidal person, not something you say as a come back to someone. This bothered me alot because I saw how kinda disgustingly ppl were doing to mentally depressed people. I lost the love of my life, my friend who was only 14yo who got bullied for being an "attention seeker" and a kid in my neighbourhood who was only 17, 2 weeks from graduation who all died from suicide. later it still haunts me. Suicide ripple effect is not okay. While people cope with humor, but don't forget people still die from depression each year. Honestly it's so disgusting.

my father, actually, said to me, when i tried to kill myself several years ago by overdosing and failed (no shit, lol), that “pretend suicide is embarrassing”. i will never forget that. ever. ironically, he was treated for similar shit when he was my age, too.
i have friends (some of those that i've met while being hospitalized) who attempted and i had a friend, who died by suicide. so it always fucking hurts when people say shit like that.
I couldn't imagine saying that to a suicidal person.
Or "You're faking.", "You're doing it for attention.", "Do it."
Nonsuicidal people do stuff like this all the time to suicidal people and while they might not have been the cause of the person doing it, they definitely could've pushed them to it.
