We had like a mental health prevention and early intervention sorta program at our campus and 2 psychiatrics were invited to explain and answer our questions. At first everyone asked shitty question but then it started to get serious like questions about DID, pedophilia, schizophrenia and all such question. A person asked at what stage exactly does a person know that he/she is having such disorder most of the people keep denying it right and then one of the professor shared that there was a kid around 14 who had a brother of age 6 he begged his parents to help him asking them to take him away from his brother because he has thoughts of hurting him and assaulting him the parents scolded him saying you've been watching too much tv and ignored it and then one day maybe after 3 years he killed himself and then the police did the regular investigation found loads and loads of creepy stuff on his laptop[you can guess] and various notes saying about what he wanted to do to his brother turns out the brother was the psychiatrics and he quoted When someone asks for help even if it sounds uncomfortable listen It might save a life.

TLDR; Psych almost got molested by his brother and shared his story
