A little rant about the guy that I like

So tbh I didn't even notice this guy until days before the valentines event from my school I first saw him at the school canteen he's ok I guess I wouldn't say he's that good looking hes more like in the cute side and his pretty nice a gentleman if i say so he helped his mom during one of the school events and his also pretty stylish ima be a little delusional but i think he smiled at me during the event idk lol anyway I asked my friend if she know him she said yes told me his account I added him he added me back I said hello he responded even apologize for replying late after that I didn't text him back cuz idk what to say to him now here's the thing I have a classmate whom I'm not that close one of her friends who's Also my friend told me that she likes him and she confess to that guy she (the girl that like the guy) found out about me liking him she's pretty cool about it she's chill even told her I don't really like him that much the truth is I do but I'm slowly just loosing interest now cuz I don't really wanna ruined my friendship with her also I don't even have a chance on that guy ngl since he's more interested on my friend cuz I always saw him liking my friends post every now and then
