I have been in relationships with men as a man. It's hard work, I don't want to make a sweeping generalization because there is always exceptions, but the lack of emotional intelligence and empathy is devastating. Making real connections with men is really hard, heartbreaking. So, to answer your question, no, I don't see anything to envy about it.
